During Term 1, our Year 6 students complete structured Peer Support leadership training. This training is conducted by the Year 6 teachers with the assistance of the school counseller. At the end of this training, Beresford Road runs a Peer Support program for all students across the school based around our school rules and other important aspects of the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) program. Students are placed in mixed age groups of approximately 12 children.
The Peer Support program helps create links between students of different grades and provides a support network for all students.
